£6.5m ambulance boost

The East of England Ambulance Service, which covers Peterborough and the rest of Cambridgeshire, has been given a £6.5 million funding boost from the Government to improve its fleet.

The ambulance service applied for the funding from the Department of Health and Social Care as part of a nationwide funding boost for the NHS’ 70th birthday.
