City Academy of Ballet showcase

Key Theatre, July 13 and 14 The show will open with a lively Tarantella by senior students, and then pupils from 4 years to adult will perform a variety of classical ballet, contempora­ry, national and character dances. Beginners’ classes will be portraying the usual mixture of fairy stories and nursery rhymes, whilst older pupils will give their interpreta­tion of ‘Carnival of the Animals’ and perform to excerpts from the musical ‘Oliver’. Senior students will dance to the music of Mascagni and Tchaikovsk­y.
