Sons Of Bill are just that. The five-piece fromVirginia, USA comprise of brothers Sam Abe and James Wilson and their dad was Bill! Bassist Seth Green and drummer Todd Wellons complete the band who made quite a stir with their last album Love And Logic. Rolling Stone magazine called it a “classic roots-rock record for the modern age.’’ Sons Of Bill formed in 2006 and Oh God Ma’am is their fifth album. The songs on the new album are easygoing and elegant, but with an underlaying pop power. Comparisons have been made to R.E.M. in their more country moments. Standout tracks on a consistently fine album include the first single Believer/Pretender and Old And Grey.
