Hodgson’s heroic effort

Oundle retained their title after a thrilling three-run final victory over Oakham. Oundle had eased past Bourne in their semi-final with two balls to spare. Mark Hodgson was the star of the semi-final win scoring 49 and dismissing star Bourne batsman Joey Evison first ball. Conor Craig (30) and Hodgson (26) top scored in the final as Oundle successfully defended 79. Oakham crushed Stamford Town in their semi-final.
