A classy departure from Steve Evans

-

Reaction to my articles on Steve Evans and Darren Ferguson...

If the product you’re eating tastes awful you change product to hopefully something nice. The football wasn’t entertaining, but it’s looking better already and will at least encourage fans.

@ChestneyS

We can understand Evans’ point of view, but we have to look forward and get behind Ferguson. @PoshNorway

My little boy met Evans a couple of times at ice hockey games and he was absolutely charming and brilliant with him. Evans’ interview after leaving was very classy. Just don’t get the need for all his on-field/touchline public antics, without which I’m sure things could have worked out differently. Kudos to you and him for the interview Alan. @csking75

I met Evans at the open training session earlier in the season. He was superb with my two little girls. I was at a point where I wasn’t really bothered if he stayed or left! It wasn’t great, but then we would put in a top performance now and again. But I feel for him a bit.

@Pearsy4

Can we read anything into Evans not thanking the fans? I think they played a massive part in getting him sacked.

That statement is definitely the best thing Evans did in his time at Posh. A perfectly handled departure which leaves a nice parting shot for those anti him. @NeilJHubbard

Fergie will save our season. @Baxterboro
