Dodgeball fun is just the business

-

Businesses across Peterborough are being urged to compete in a dodgeball event for charity. The fun contest is being organised by Peterborough (Progress Health). Teams of six to 10 people are urged to take part in the fancy dress contest, which will take place on March 24.

The Werrington Sports Centre will be the venue for the competition that starts at 3pm and finishes at 5pm.

The cost of taking part is £500, payable in advance of the event.

The event has been organised jointly with Dodgeball UK.

A cheque presentation will take place after the event, along with the trophies for the Best Team and Best Fancy Dress. A spokesperson for the organisers said: “This is a great way of promoting your business.

“It will be good fun, and a chance to have some healthy competition from potential other businesses in the same industry sector. “There will also be a chance to network in our Corporate Entertainment Area before, during and after the event. All the money raised from the dodgeball event will go towards SSAFA – The Armed Forces Charity.

Anyone who would like to take part should contact Progress Health at email cox@hcp.co.uk for further details. Peterborough (Progress Health) provides facilities management services for Peterborough City Hospital, The Cavell Centre and the City Care Centre.
