‘Don’t give the idiots any more airtime’
Reaction to my latest columns...
I cannot believe Sky Sports showed a slow motion replay of that cowardly attack on JackGrealish. We didn’t need to see it again. Don’t give the idiot any airtime.
@philadlam
The world needed to see the Jack Grealish incident. It’s the only way the authorities will deal with this in the appropriate manner, which should be a points deduction, a huge fine and prison time for the fan who hit him. @theposheye
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is so articulate and you hear the respect from all ex- pros towards him. @Buckrodgersposh
Solskjaer is just a genuine, lovely bloke. @CoryRose32 I usually feel like launching a brick at most Premier League managers on screen, but I just feel like giving Ole a cuddle.
@Club_GK
Ole is a breath of fresh air, exactly what the game needs at the top level. That passion, enthusiasm and honesty that will make kids want to be like their heroes. @IanJBryant
You have to respect the job Ole did in Paris. He had a lot of players missing as well. United have to give him the job.
@Jimmy_Dean666
Ole has done far better than I dared expect, but I’d be wary of giving him the job full-time.

This VAR stupidity will be in our game next season. Need people to understand the meaning of ‘clear and obvious’.
@Rutlandspinner Rory McIlroy’s cheerleaders in the national media - of which there are many - are convinced he is on track to win the Masters next month.
He won’t. I’d be surprised if he wins anything big again. He isn’t strong enough mentally and he can’t rely on his putting, a fairly imprortant part of the game, especially at Augusta, McIlroy can’t intimidate players like Tiger Woods. He plays in the final pairing in the final round on a regular basis and never wins. Even young Englishman Matthew Fitzpatrick held him at bay in the Arnold Palmer Invitational last weekend. Ryder Cup and Open hero Francesco Molinari (above) won that event and he’s a much safer bet at longer odds for the Masters than McIlroy thanks to a fine short game and cool temperament.
DARREN DESERVED MOORE TIME
I was shocked when Posh sacked manager Steve Evans when they were sixth in League One, but West Brom’s dismissal of Darren Moore (above) with his side fourth in the ultracompetitive Championship is staggering. The sense of entitlement of clubs is becoming a joke. There are bigger clubs than the Baggies lower down the Championship table.
NO ROOM FOR WEST INDIANS
I was pleased to see David Willey and Chris Jordan return outstanding Twenty/20 bowling figures for England against the West Indies. They are the players under most threat from the imminent introduction of Jofra Archer to the England limited overs squads. Archer is a West Indian.
