Peterborou­gh Northern Star have charged clear at the top of Under 14 Division One of the Peterborou­gh & District Junior Alliance League after a 15-1 win over Parkside Athletic.

Colbey Ring and Blaze Snell led the way on the scoring front with four goals apiece, while Jack Singleton grabbed a hat-trick.

Jamie Graham, Ben Jones, Alex Hannan and Thomas Coenan also netted for a Star side who have won all seven league games so far and boast a seven-point lead at the top.

Snell now has 20 goals for the season with Ring on 15.

Bourne Town Red are second and they also scored well beating March Town Athletic 8-1 with Josh Cox and Dylan White both hitting hat-tricks.

Netherton United Ravens are third after a 3-1 win over FC Peterborou­gh. Joe Bloodworth and Ruben Soares were among their scorers.

Sawtry Blue Sox lead the way in Division Three after a 10-0 win over Hampton Blue as Sebastian Lomax and Kane Moorhen grabbed hat-tricks.

And Stanground Sports maintained their 100 per cent winning record in Division Two with a 10-0 victory over Feeder.

Valter Mendes (4) and Archie Thompson (3) led the scoring spree in this game.

The top two in Division One met at the Grange and there was an emphatic success for visitors, Spalding United Blue, who beat Netherton United 5-2.

Leland Dent (3) and George Frost (2) scored for Spalding with Dhruv Karavadra and Jack Kent on target for the city youngsters. Ollie Foley hit a hat-trick as Whittlesey Junior Blue beat Peterborou­gh Nene 5-1 in this section.

Mateus Rodrigues (2) and Alfred Bedford scored the goals as Peterborou­gh Northern Star Whites won for the first time in Under 13 Division One, 3-1 over Holbeach Black.

Thorney Colts stay top of Division Two after a 13-1 romp against Glinton & Northborou­gh Black and in Division Four there was an exciting 3-3 draw between FC Peterborou­gh and Gunthorpe Harriers at Fulbridge Road.

Eisa Waheed hit a hattrick for FC Peterborou­gh with Cristiano Ribiero (2) and Kieran Parrott scoring for Gunthorpe.
