Jayden hits Hampton for six, Crowland’s Cody is ‘four-some’

Jayden Bembridge led the way with a double hat-trick as Deeping United picked up their first points in Division Four of the Under Junior Alliance League in style.
After two defeats in two matches Deeping beat Hampton Navy 8-0 with Xavier Oke scoring the other two goals.
In Division Three it was a good day for the Crowland teams as the Blacks maintained their 100 per cent winning start with a 6-0 success at Boston and the Yellows picking up their first three-point haul of the campaign by beating Riverside Riovers 5-3.
Six different players scored for the second-placed Crowland Blacks, but Cody Elgie scored four for Crowland Yellows. Everyone is chasing high-flying Hampton Robins in this division. They made it five wins from five games with a 6-0 win at Stanground Sports.
Peterborough Northern Star are already 10 points clear in Under 14 Division Four after winning their first eight matches. The prolific Blaze Snell scored twice in last weekend’s 6-1 win at Park Farm Pumas.
In Division Two Jesse Manu followed up his seven goals the previous week with five more as Hampton Navy beat Stamford Yellows 9-0 to stay second in the table.
The big game in Division Three between two teams with 100 per cent winning records finished 3-3 between Thorpe Wood Rangers and Boston United. The city side’s goals were scored by William Barnsley, Kane Lynch and Jimmy Saider.
