WE WANT YOUR NOMINATIONS:
The date is set for this year’s Peterborough Telegraph Sports Awards... and we want to hear your nominations.
From goal machines and top athletes to unsung heroes and stars of the future - The Peterborough Telegraph wants to hear your views on who should make our shortlist.
This week we want to hear your nominations. Simply fill in the form on the right and post it to us. Alternatively you can email your nominations to us.
Based on your nominations and the views of our judging adjudicators we will then draw up a final shortlist in each category.
Your votes will then decide the winners from that shortlist.
The winners can come from professional or amateur sports.
Nominations for Posh, Panthers and Phantoms personalities will be treated the same as votes for martial artists, local swimmers and the best of the junior talent in the area.
There are 12 categories this year including a new community award.
The new look Peterborough Telegraph Annual Sports Awards will take place on 30th March at the Key Theatre.
Guests will be able to enjoy mingling with friends, family and colleagues at the Theatre with access to several bars and buffet style hot food will be served.
The awards ceremony will take place in the theatre itself (guests will be allowed to take drinks into the auditorium) and there will be further opportunity to purchase drinks from the bar during a short intermission and after the ceremony itself.
All shortlisted nominees will receive 1 complimentary ticket to the awards event (teams will receive 2 complimentary tickets per team) and further tickets can be purchased on our dedicated
