Fantasies Of A Stay At Home Psychopath (Modern Sky UK) Album

In today’s wonderful world of pop, there’s so much joyful diverse music to enjoy from all corners of the world. But – and maybe it’s in my DNA – there’s nothing quite like the basic primeval thrill of hearing a great young British guitar band.

Step forward Manchester band The Blinders and their second album Fantasies Of A Stay At Home Psycopath. There’s nothing wildly original about the threepiece’s sound – they just take the guitar/drums/ bass and voice template and create deliciouslymerry hell. This is searing rock music allied to dark and incisive lyrics. Throughout you can hear echoes of other great bands who have trodden the same before them from The Fall to Oasis and from The Bad Seeds to Sleaford Mods.

The band comprises of vocalist and guitarist Thomas Haywood, bass guitarist Charlie McGough, and drummer

Matthew Neale and this album will surely establish them as one of Britain’s best new bands. To have a chance of winning a copy of the album, answer this question:
