At the end of the day RFL chairman Rick Parry is at fault for allowing teams to vote in their own self interest. Some teams playing Bolton’s kids and the Bury debacle also distorted the season.

It seemed bizarre that two teams who voted to not play and finish the season, played at Wembley at the end of a season they voted to finish!
