New striker won’t come cheap

Posh need to sell star striker Ivan Toney before they can replace him.

Posh have identified the man they want to step into Toney’s shoes, but he will cost a fee. Posh boss Darren Ferguson said: “We have a target for when Ivan leaves, but there is a fee involved so the sale has to be completed before we can bring the man we want in.” Posh will sign a back-up goalkeeper on a free transfer.
