Why bother coming up?

Things that have caught my eye since the resumption of competitive football.

1) Norwich City surrendered their Premier League place so willingly why did they try so hard to get up under manager Daniel Farke (above) in the first place?

2) What exactly did Aston Villa spend £150 million on following their own promotion to the Premier League?

3) I passionately dislike Leeds United, but they are the second best team to watch in this country after Manchester City. 4) Brentford are not far behind the top two entertaining teams. 5) Our referees remain hopeless in the top two divisions. They can’t even watch endless replays and come up with an understable decision. But they are good at protecting colleagues.
