Posh want Brown back:

Posh have made a bid to bring midfielder Reece Brown back to the Weston Homes Stadium.

The 24 year-old impressed on loan from Championship side Huddersfield at Posh last season, forming an impressive midfield partnership with fellow new recruit Jack Taylor.

Brown’s wages at Huddersfield make a permenant deal unlikely, but Posh boss Darren Ferguson has confirmed he is keen to push through another loan deal.

Posh are determined to strengthen their midfield. They currently have just Taylor,

Louis Reed and teenager Kyle Barker who specialise in central midfield roles in the first-team squad.

Josh Knight, who is capable of playing in midfield or central defence, is not expected to return to Posh following a strong spell on loan from Leicester City last season.
