Kev and Craig kick off weekday mornings

-

It really is exciting times at PCR Towers! To compliment the brand new sound to the city’s radio station, from this Monday (August 17) popular local presenter Kev Lawrence will be back behind the mic for breakfast on PCRfm 103.2.

Kev’s new Breakfast

Show will be on every weekday between 7am and 10am, and if that wasn’t enough Craig Bunday will be moving from Drivetime to take up the midmorning show immediately after him.

On returning to Peterborough’s airwaves Kev said: “I’m really looking forward to getting started and joining the brilliant PCR team.

“Over the years local radio has gradually been disappearing. Hereward FM back in the day was so connected to the city and its listeners, and that feeling is what I’m hoping to bring back on the new breakfast show.

“Never before has community been so important, and PCR will be a platform that can help local businesses and our listeners come together.”

“This is great news for the city,” added Craig.

“It’s an honour to be following such a local legend as Kev and continuing the energy through mid-morning. There’ll be lots of what you’ve come to expect from my previous shows on the station, interviews, laughs and wry observations, coupled, of course, with great music and regular local interest slots.”

Former breakfast show presenter Chris Tate has moved to Drivetime to make way for the new look to weekday mornings, and Chris Tibbles completes the new daytime line up with his afternoon show.
