Team Hicks get their kicks from a prestigious county award
Karate - City school wins a major prize
Hicks Karate School have won the prestigious Cambridgeshire Martial Arts School of the Year prize for 2020.
Judges highly commended the school on ‘the amazing premises, high quality and range of classes and the commitment of instructors and core values.’
School owner Sensei Andrew Hicks said: “We are so proud to bring this award back to Peterborough, just for doing what we have always done.
“We promote a family friendly atmosphere in our school while really working hard on the fundamentals of martial arts training to a high standard.
“In these unprecedented times it was amazing to finally be named official winners. The way this year has gone has made this award feel so much more special.
“We are so grateful to have the opportunity to serve our customers.
“We love our team, we love our school and we are proud of
what we have achieved.
“We will continue to try and enrich thousands of lives across Peterborough with martial arts training.”
Hicks Karate School
opened in 2012 and is based at the TechnologyCentre, Vicarage Farm Road, Fengate.
Sensei Hicks has been teaching in the city for over 25 years and employs instructors
with World, European and British titles. His students are also multi-title winners.
