We’re travelling to Sicily in the 1990s for the latest award-winning offering from Walter Presents. Provincial prosecutor Saverio Barone is young, ambitious and has been the brains behind several street-level arrests in Palermo for a number of years, but as blood continues to flow on the city’s streets, he realises it’s time to make a stand. In a move Line of Duty’s AC-12 would be proud of, he turns in which own corrupt boss, to the horror of his colleagues. The move does, however, earn Barone a promotion to a unit specialisi­ng in bringing the Mafia to book.

DRAMA Ackley Bridge C4, 6pm, Monday

The Yorkshire-set schoolbase­d drama is back for a new run, but some things have changed. For a start it’s broadcasti­ng each weekday for the next fortnight, and in a tea-time rather then primetime slot. We’re promised several fresh faces too, who we’ll be getting to know over the course of 10 episodes. Among them is mixed race pupil Kayla, who finds herself torn between her white mother’s family and her father’s traditiona­l

Pakistani relatives. Also set to pop up are Kayla’s best friend, firebrand Fizza, and Romany Gypsy community member Johnny, whose good looks are sure to turn a few heads.

SPORT Match of the Day Live: The FA Cup BBC1, 5.10pm, Saturday

Last month, Pep Guardiola’s runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City beat Everton 2-0, thanks to late goals from Ilkay Gundogan, left, and Kevin de Bruyne, to reach the last four of the FA Cup. However, they face another significan­t challenge today in the form of eight-time winners Chelsea. The Blues are going well under new manager Thomas Tuchel, with the German safely steering them to an unrivalled 12th semi-final this century thanks to a 2-0 win over struggling Sheffield United.

DOCUMENTAR­Y Different League: The Derry City Story BBC2, regions vary, Monday

Derry City FC has been in existence since 1928, but it’s endured a chequered history, including a 13-year spell out of the limelight before joining the League of Ireland’s new First Division for the 1985/86 season. Now local boy and supporter Guy King, a producer/director, has made a documentar­y about that momentous period in the club’s history, which he describes as a ‘rebirth’. King has managed to track down key players from the era as well as longstandi­ng fans, who discuss their memories.
