City side have been on a summer signing spree
Peterborough Northern Star have announced a flurry of signings ahead of their 202122 United Counties League campaign.
Denis Tomkins, Joe Kelly, Harley Williams, Ricki Goodale, Connor Pilbeam, Josh Pike and Callum Madigan are among those to have signed on at the Branch Bros Stadium.
Madigan will skipper a side managed by Lloyd Burton.
Star will open their competitive season with a tough Premier Division South away game at Eynesbury Rovers on Tuesday August 3.
Opening United Counties League fixtures:
Tuesday, August 3: Premier Division North: Boston Town v Deeping Rangers. Premier Division South: Eynesbury Rovers v Peterborough Northern Star.
Wednesday, August 4: Premier Division North: Pinchbeck United c Sleaford Town, Skegness Town v Holbeach United.
Saturday. August 7: Division One:
Blackstones v Belper United, Barrowash Victoria v Bourne Town.
Peterborough North •
End (formerly Peterborough North End Sports) play their first game at step six level at Norwich CBS in Thurlow Nunn Division One on Saturday, July 31.
They host Needham Market Reserves in their first home game at the Bee Arena on August 7.
Summer signing •
Michael Gash scored his second goal in two games as Peterborough Sports beat Yaxley 4-0 in a Tuesday night friendly.
Josh Moreman, Dan Jarvis and Pao Omombe-Epoye scored the other goals.
Sports host National South League side Concord Rangers at the Bee Arena on Saturday (3pm).
Sports start their Southern League Premier Division campaign on August 14.
