The Peterborough Evening Telegraph
Last chance to enter the pt business awards this year
There is still time to enter Peterborough’s most prestigious business event of the year, hosted by the Peterborough Telegraph in association with headline sponsor, Azets. But not that long!
No matter how big or small your business is, the Peterborough Telegraph has a large and diverse selection of awards available to enter in 2021 with a closing date of this Wednesday, September 8th..
Don’t miss out on being in with a change of getting your business recognised at the annual glittering gala black tie dinner celebration and ceremony which will take place at the Holiday Inn West, Peterborough, on Friday, November 19th.
Organisers are thrilled with the level of entries so far and wanted to take the opportunity this week to highlight a few tweaks made to the categories in response to feedback and suggestions from businesses and individuals who are currently in the process of finalising their applications.
PT editor Mark Edwards said: “We want to ensure that our awards up for grabs are as relevant and inclusive as they possibly can be. You have to move with the current thinking and be agile in these uncertain times and that’s what we are doing.”
Sustainable businesses are so important in today’s environment and we are therefore including an award to recognise the business that has done the most to improve overall environmental performance and enhance sustainability in our award portfolio this year.
This particular category features in many of the business awards we are involved in across the country and it has proved a popular addition.
A further enhancement includes the Employer of the Year category which along with all the fundamental criteria that apply to Peterborough employers, we will want to see how your organisation embraces equality and diversity in the workplace, again something which has come to the fore this year.
This past year many organisations have been focussing on creating a culture whereby both the business and its people can thrive. Many organisations have diversified and adapted, offering support both to the wider community and other businesses during the pandemic. The PT and independent judging panel wants to recognise those continuing commitment to business, economic development and community engagement hence combining the Best Business Response to the Crisis and CSR into one category for this year.
All the information on the categories and how to enter are here: www.peterboroughbusinessawards.co.uk/.
To reflect the enhancements above we are pleased to extend the deadline for entries to Wednesday, September 8th.
