Clio gets a makeover

-

Renault’s new Clio and Clio Sport have received a raft of upgrades and enhancements.

The new Clio hopes to be more appealing than ever, thanks to its full-LED lighting signature and the incorporation of design cues and interior ambiances that exude quality and careful attention to detail.

It now boasts one of the most comprehensive powertrain ranges on the market thanks to the introduction of the 1.5 dCi 110 engine and the mating of a six-speed manual gearbox to the TCe 120. Available with four equipment levels not to mention numerous customisation possibilities, the new Clio has been designed to win over an increasingly large customer base with a wide spectrum of requirements and expectations.

The New Clio R.S. 200 EDC, Clio R.S. 220 Trophy and new GT-Line incorporate the advances offered by the new Clio and further enhance that package by drawing on Renault Sport’s wealth of knowledge and expertise.

The Clio R.S. is available with a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a choice of two power outputs (200hp and 220hp on the Trophy version), mated to six-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifts.

It is the only car in its class to offer three different types of chassis, giving customers the opportunity to ‘tailor-build’ their own Clio R.S.

It’s time to see red this September, as Mazda’s stylish and sophisticated supermini range is enhanced with the launch of the Mazda2 Red Edition.

With high levels of standard specification, eyecatching styling enhancements and a striking cabin, the Red Edition’s stand-out appearance complements the Mazda2’s KODO: Soul of Motion design and sporty proportions.

Offered with a choice of free-of-charge Snowflake White Pearlescent or Black Mica paint, the Red Edition’s youthful design cues include Soul Red accents on the wing mirror covers, rear spoiler and rear underskirt, while the bespoke look can be further heightened with optional £300 Dark Gunmetal 15in alloy wheels.

In dealerships from September 1 and limited to just 400 cars, the Red Edition’s small volumes make it an exclusive supermini choice that stands out from the crowd.

Powered by the efficient 89bhp SKYACTIV-G petrol engine, the Red Edition aims to offer customers the ideal balance of lively, agile performance and highlycompetitive fuel economy, plus with CO2 emissions of just 105g/km, low running costs are a given.
