Man se­ri­ous af­ter Ox­ford Street fall

A man be­lieved to be a win­dow cleaner is in a se­ri­ous con­di­tion af­ter fall­ing from a build­ing on Ox­ford Street in cen­tral Lon­don. Hor­ri­fied com­muters de­scribed see­ing blood on the pave­ment when the man, in his mid-40s, fell near Hare­wood Place.

The in­ci­dent hap­pened at around 6.30am yes­ter­day. A spokesman for the Metropoli­tan Po­lice said: “A man in his 40s, be­lieved to be a win­dow cleaner, had fallen from a height.”
