Directors Will Sharpe and Tom Kingsley follow up their acclaimed debut Black Pond with an offbeat, melancholy thriller. Sharpe also stars as Zac, a high-strung city trader whose wayward younger sister Alice (Tiani Ghosh) set out on a narrow boat trip with her drifter boyfriend Toby (Inbetweener Joe Thomas) and hasn’t been seen since. When the police don’t seem too interested in investigating, Zac launches his own social media campaign to find her, while also scouring the canal system. As he searches, he reflects on his relationship with his sibling, the beginnings of her romance with Toby and the reasons she may have disappeared.
