Don’t hedge your bets with Sunak

SIR, – We are exhorted by Iain Lakin (Letters, July 11) to trust in Rishi Sunak and thank him for his wisdom and munificence in saving Scotland from the rapacious hedge fund managers. A little homework would have revealed that said Mr Sunak until his recent entry into the grubby world of politics was in fact a hedge fund manager. My trust will lie elsewhere, thank you.
