Tom Daley isn’t just a fantastic Olympian diver, he’s also an ambassador for British Lion eggs and someone who loves to get “cracking” in the kitchen. Here he shares one of his favourite pancake recipes with young readers and asks them to consider this... If you squeeze an egg, end-to-end for 10 seconds, can you crack it? It sounds simple but it’s not as easy as you might think. Because, while eggshells are fragile, they’re also surprisingly strong when squeezed endto-end, as the arched shape means they can withstand heavy weights. Try it yourself – but be warned, you’ll find it much harder than you thought it would be!
