Woman hurt in accident

A woman was taken to hospital yesterday evening following a crash on an Aberdeenshire road.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on the B9005 Methlick to Ellon road at 8.45pm.

Two fire appliances were sent from Ellon to the accident, but no cutting equipment was required for the one-vehicle crash.

Ambulance teams transported the woman to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment, but she is not believed have suffered any serious injuries.
