Girl critical after accident

An eight-year-old girl is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a car.

She was struck by a black Ford Ka in St Fillans Road, Dundee, on Saturday at 9pm.

The girl was taken to the city’s Ninewells Hospital where police said yesterday she is in “critical condition”.
