Clapton’s guitar sold at auction
A guitar owned by British singer-songwriter Eric Clapton has sold at auction to help pay the medical bills for a Texas musician whose wife recently died of leukaemia.
The 2014 Fender Stratocaster raised $45,000 dollars (£34,320) at the auction in Dallas. The money will help Johnny Nicholas cover medical bills from his wife’s leukaemia treatment and support leukaemia research.
