Speed Festival is a roaring success
The launch of The Royal Deeside Speed Festival saw 8,000 people attend the event at Kincardine Castle on Sunday, which included a speed hill climb in the stunning surroundings of Royal Deeside.
Hill climb enthusiast James Parker laid the track having been racing cars for decades and 130 drivers took part.
There was also a soapbox Derby and various manufacture displays alongside 4x4 safaris.
The event was such a success that there are already plans afoot to hold it again next year.
