Three late bogeys took the edge off Peterhead golfer Ross Cameron’s secondroun­d challenge in the German PGA’s Pro Golf Tour Championsh­ip at Castanea Golf Resort in Adendorf in Germany.

He signed for a two under 70 for a twounder-par tally of 142, which left him in 16th position, seven shots behind the leader, Mathieu Fenasse (France) with one round to go.

Kevin Duncan (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) is tied 17th on 143, three ahead of Banchory’s Chris Robb who slipped back with a 75 for 146.

Peterhead’s Philip McLean is sharing 50th place on 150 while Portlethen’s Sam Kiloh has had disappoint­ing scores of 77 and 76 for 153.
