Tournament is cut back

-

The £46,600 Highland Golf Links proam, scheduled for 54 holes with rounds of Royal Dornoch, Nairn and Castle Stuart, has had to be reduced to two rounds after play on the second day at Castle Stuart was abandoned due to high winds. The tournament, one of the most lucrative on the Tartan Tour, will now be decided by the scores achieved by the professionals and their amateur teams at Royal Dornoch and Nairn.

The first-day scores at Castle Stuart have been discarded.

The new leader of the tournament is Graham Fox (Clydeway Golf ) by virtue of the seven-under-par round he had at Nairn Golf Club.
