Bomb recipe in cell
A man already serving a life sentence for plotting a terror attack to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the July 7 bombings has been handed a further threeyear jail term.
Mohammed Rehman, 26, admitted possessing a recipe on how to make an explosive known as HMTDafter a handwritten folded sheet of A4 was found in a cupboard during a search of his cell.
Rehman, wearing a black prayer cap, and sporting a full beard, pleaded guilty to the charge as he appeared from Whitemoor prison via video at the Old Bailey hearing yesterday.
He is just over one year into a life sentence, and the three years handed down today will not add to his time behind bars but may influence the parole board.
