Cheered up by leadership letter

-

SIR, – I've been feeling rather glum of late so I would like to thank Mr Gumbrell (England has better leadership than us, Letters, February 22) for cheering me up ever so much. I laughed so much I almost lost control of my bladder.

I recently visited family in Colchester and plan to send them the letter to cheer them up as well. I can assure Mr Gumbrell that although things are not perfect here they are less rosier down sowf awight.

Graham Taylor, Strichen Court, Fraserburgh the whim of a couple of parents and few pupils. This despite the fact there is a perfectly good school within a few miles. Indeed I understand that most of the children of primary age in and around Strachan choose to go to Finzean anyway.

Why is this crazy situation continuing? There are probably busses carrying the children the few minutes to Finzean anyway and it would be beneficial for the childrens' development to be involved with a far more diverse group of peers and teachers.
