Ward councillors did not oppose

SIR, – I note in your article ‘Charity facing big bill over scheme’ on 26 April that you refer to the Stronelairg windfarm project having been opposed by “three out of four local councillors”. This claim is factually incorrect, the application was not opposed by any of the local councillors within whose ward the project is located and was supported by the Highland Council planning committee by 11 votes to three.
