The Last Kingdom

(BBC2, 9pm-10pm) Aethelflaed goes missing, and her newlywed husband returns to Winchester to deliver the news to Alfred. Odda finds himself questioning whether the will of his king and the good of the kingdom might now be at odds. Having dispatched his own son for failing to remain loyal to the crown in the past, will Odda now follow his lead and turn against Alfred?
