Visitor to castle injured

A man has been rescued after being injured while visiting a historic castle in Aberdeenshire.

He was visiting Dunnottar Castle, near Stonehaven, on Monday when he fell and broke a leg.The ambulance service alerted coastguards for help with transporting the casualty.

Stonehaven and Montrose coastguards headed to Dunnottar to rescue the visitor, who was taken for further treatment at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
