‘Utter shame’ of councillor
SIR, – Mr Kitts-Hayes – elected member no less – should be utterly ashamed.
In times of financial cuts, where ordinary folk are facing huge challenges, his churlish behaviour of walkout and fly-off is offensive to all. He knows it too, or why the cover up?
He – and any other elected member with similar notions of grandeur – should remember that it is a privilege to serve the community as a councillor. His remit was to attend the conference, not to have a “jolly”.
