Feeney out at Newport

Newport County have sacked manager Warren Feeney after the Welsh club’s disappointing start to the season.

The Exiles prop up the Football League having won only one of their first nine League Two games and Feeney, 35, has departed after little more than eight months in charge.

County’s next appointment will be their sixth manager in little more than 19 months.
