Maryburgh celebration
Maryburgh Amateur Football Club is to hold a dinner at the Priory Hotel in Beauly on Saturday, October 29 at 7pm to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
The club, formed in 1966 by Ack Thow, Ron Macdonald, James Junor, Charlie Stuart, Willie Stuart and Dick Mcintosh, has won numerous trophies, including nine Ross-Shire league titles, the first in 1976, and two Highland Amateur triumphs, in 1986 and 1990.
