Assault on M-way driver

Police are trying to trace two men who stopped to help a woman aged 34 who was assaulted while driving on the M9.

She was said to be “driving at speed” when she was attacked by a man in her blue Citroen C1.

She pulled over between the Forth Road Bridge and Linlithgow, and the man got out.

Two men stopped to help the woman, who was able to drive on.
