Man stole from dying teenager

A thief who stole a mobile phone from the pocket of a teenager as he lay dying in the street has been jailed.

Curtis Connick, 31, took the handset minutes after Kevin Wilson, 17, had been shot in Liverpool in February 2015.

Yesterday Connick, of Liverpool, was sentenced at the city’s crown court to three years and three months’ jail after admitting theft and perverting the course of justice. Kevin Wilson’s murder remains unsolved.
