Pakistan court seeks PM’s reply

Pakistan’s Supreme Court has sought a reply from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to several petitions seeking his resignation over an alleged financial scandal involving his family.

The court gave Mr Sharif two weeks to submit his response, his aides and opposition leaders told reporters outside the courthouse.
