Teacher in crash fined

A primary teacher told Fort William Sheriff Court a bend on the A82 at Onich was “like ice” the day he crashed into an oncoming car. Mark Reynolds, 42, was taken to hospital with broken ribs and the occupants of the other car, a Fiat, suffered minor injuries.

Reynolds, of Nursery Park, Spean Bridge, admitted careless driving and was fined £500 with six penalty points.
