Alien, Star Wars, King Arthur, The BFG, to name but a few, have all featured iconic Highland landscapes in recent times.

Scotland is blessed with beautiful scenery and it’s no surprise people want to see it for themselves.

But these movie-bagging hikers have a responsibility for themselves and to others to make sure they keep safe.

Our mountain rescue teams are stretched at the best of times – hopefully their plea for sense doesn’t fall on deaf ears.
