Dons Ladies eliminated

Aberdeen Ladies were yesterday knocked out of the Scottish Cup after a 2-1 defeat to Rangers.

Dons midfielder Chloe Fitzpatrick levelled the secondround tie at 1-1 to force extra time after Clare Gemmell had put the Light Blues in front.

Gemmell had the decisive say, however, scoring six minutes into extra time at New Tinto Park, Govan, to seal Rangers’ progress.
