Corbyn’s promises ‘pie in the sky’

-

SIR, – Whoever thought the day would come when the UK could be run by communists?

Jeremy Corbyn arrives dressed as the Pied Piper playing the old tune “give the people what they want to hear, then when elected, forget it.”

The promise of £10 minimum per hour is pie in the sky. On getting the pay rise everything will cost more and you will be taxed more. Council rates will, surely, rise, food will cost more, etc. a rise in unemployment.

The Pied Piper will have to create a strong economy but communism can’t do that. Thus, sadly a fast deteriorating United Kingdom. Audrey Taylor, Old Manse Croft, Drumoak, Banchory
