Defoe set for Cherries

Jermain Defoe is expected to become a Bournemouth player this weekend when his Sunderland contract expires and he begins a new deal at the Vitality Stadium.

The England international, 34, scored 18 goals in 29 games during a loan spell on the south coast from West Ham in the 2000-2001 season.
