Build stadium on same site as AECC

SIR, – I have been following with interest letters for and against a new stadium for AFC at Kingsford.

When I first read the proposal to build a new stadium at Kingsford, my first thoughts were how many houses and at what profit will be built at Pittodrie where it will probably be possible to obtain planning permission for houses.

Secondly, why is the new stadium not being built beside the new AECC creating a truly impressive complex and being able to benefit from shared parking facilities and the hoped for rail link? David Smith, North Deeside Road, Aberdeen
