Keith Taylor was described last night as a “loving husband” who was devoted to his parents.

The former oil worker and his wife Linda lived on the 12th floor of the Donside Court tower block – across the hall from Miss Gabriel.

In a statement, the 43year-old’s family described him as a “happy-go-lucky lad”.

They added: “He had a great sense of humour and was always laughing and joking.

“His dad taught him to scuba dive and they enjoyed many diving trips in and around the Moray coast.

“Keith met his wife when he worked in Holland in the oil and gas sector.

“They then moved to Aberdeen and got married in 2013. He was a loving husband and was devoted to his mum and dad plus his elder brother.”

Mother of four Ms Gabriel, 40, was born in Aberdeen but moved to the Huntly area of Aberdeenshire at a young age and also went to Alford Academy.

Her father, Alex Gabriel, who lives in the Seaton area of Aberdeen, said: “She was always phoning me, she was a daddy’s girl.

“Tracy was such a decent person, she was too decent.

“She was a lovely daughter. I don’t know what to do.”

Miss Gabriel’s daughter Samantha said: “She was a heartwarming person that welcomed anyone with open arms, and she would put anyone before herself.

“She also adored all her children and her family.

“She will be missed by a lot of people, and we will always love her and never forget her.”

In a statement Miss Gabriel’s family described her as a “much loved daughter, sister, mother, aunt and cousin”.
