With food prices expected to rise this year, it’s no wonder many people are thinking about growing their own fruit and vegetables.

Woodlands, an impressive detached bungalow in Dunphail, which is around five miles from Forres, could be the perfect place to stretch your green fingers and get growing.

It is surrounded by around an acre of delightful grounds, mainly laid to lawn but with an enclosed section of garden which comes with raised beds, a greenhouse, summerhouse and a large polytunnel where you could grow an abundance of fresh leaves, vegetables or soft fruits.

It’s just a short step from here to the kitchen which has large sliding patio doors which open directly into the garden, which makes it ideal for the summer months, as you could have your veryownkitchen garden to help you create lovely fresh dishes.

The house, which is on the market for offers over £260,000, enjoys a beautiful semi- rural location while its layout and flexibil- itymake it suitable for a variety of buyers, and in particular those looking for a generously proportioned home with useful outdoor space.

The house is approached via a large driveway which has ample parking space for several vehicles and leads to a very useful double garage.

The front door opens into a welcoming hallway which gives access to the sitting room. This is a naturally bright room with a large picture window flooding it with natural light. The main focal point is the fireplace with inset wood-burning stove.

The sitting room has a set of double doors which opens into a conservatory overlooking the gardens to the side. The kitchen is large enough to house a dining table and chairs and comes with a range of wall and base storage units, integrated appliances and Rayburn.

The utility room provides further storage facilities and space for white goods and there is a shower room and family bathroom. The three double bedrooms are all spacious and nicely presented.

Woodlands also enjoys nice open views of the local countryside and beyond to the front. The local primary school is nearby and there are a host of sporting pursuits including shooting and fishing, with the River Findhorn on the doorstep and stalking on nearby estates, as well as an abundance of outdoor activities.

Forres is just a short drive away and has a good selection of shops and leisure facilities.
